Dr Joseph Matthews is an interventional cardiologist with Sutherland and Eastern Heart Clinic. He is a staff specialist with Sutherland Hospital, in private rooms at Cardiology Associates at Miranda and Wales cardiology at Prince of Wales private. Joe also has admitting rights at Prince of Wales Private and Kareena Hospitals.

Joe completed an interventional fellowship with Eastern Heart Clinic over 2006 and 2007, commencing a role as a staff specialist at Sutherland Hospital in 2008. He has a special interest in complex and difficult angioplasty.

Joe is currently the Director of Physician Training at Sutherland Hospital and is a conjoint lecturer with University of NSW.
